And now for the coolest news until now, strange plans from Sony.... Check it out:

It seems that Sony has massive plans with Backwards Compatibility. This becomes clear from a job opening of the Japanese hardwaregiant. Sony is, as it happens, in search of a system engineer who can improve the Backwards Compatibility, but the specifications aren't something to be called interesting.

First of all in the job opening there is a mysterious next-gen console being talked about, the engineer sony is looking for must be able to make perfect emulators for the mysterious console, and for the PS3

This software must make it possible to play games on both consoles, not only the PlayStation 1, 2 and 3, but also for the PlayStation Portable spotlessly! Sony have recently already started with online distributing PlayStation portable-games by means of the PlayStation Network. These will then soon also be playable on the PlayStation 3?
